I got even. I took this awful woman’s advice and saw a nutritionist. Someone I didn’t know so that I could get the most unbiased point of view. Maybe I was doing something wrong that I have my blinders on about. So I made the appointment, filled out the questionnaire, and showed up. Before my appointment, she asked me to keep a food log. Something I’m well versed in. So I did. Granted, I’m not 100% nuts and grains, but I follow the 80/20 rule. 80% of the time, eat whole, organic, home-cooked foods, and the other 20% splurge on eating out. In fact, since the pandemic, it’s been more than 98% eat whole, organic, homemade meals, and maaaaaaybe 2% eat out.

I showed up to the appointment, told her my story, told her about the awful “medical professional,” and listened to what she had to say.
Frankly, it wasn’t a whole lot. She didn’t tell me anything I didn’t know already and pretty much didn’t know how to help me because I’m doing all the things she would recommend PLUS, I eat better than she does! So what am I supposed to do with that information?
